László Seregdi, Supervisory Advisor, Central Bank of Hungary (MNB)
László Seregdi is a supervisory advisor at the Regulation Department of the Central Bank of Hungary (MNB). He began his career in 1991 at the State Banking Supervisory Authority, and has worked since then at its various legal successors. He is primarily concerned with domestic and EU regulatory and methodological issues. In 2016 he earned his PhD from the University of Kaposvár, and has lectured at the Budapest Institute of Banking since 2018.

Rod Hardcastle, Director, Deloitte LLP
Rod Hardcastle is a director in the EMEA Centre for Regulatory Strategy of Deloitte and has over 25 years of experience in financial services, both as a practitioner, including roles at RBS and Lloyds Bank in the UK, and in risk advisory roles. Rod has a strong focus on bank regulation and risk management.

Szigel Gábor, Senior manager, Deloitte Hungary
Gabor Szigel is a senior manager in Risk and Regulatory team in Deloitte’s Budapest office and has 15 years of experience in financial services, both on regulatory side, including roles at Hungarian National Bank and as practitioner. During his career as advisor he completed many successful projects with regard to ICAAP, stress testing, capital and financial planning and other prudential regulatory issues (recovery & resolution plans, risk appetite frameworks, etc.). He has been supporting IFRS 9 audits as a subject matter expert since 2017.

József Soltész, Senior Supervisor, Central Bank of Hungary (MNB)
József Soltész, CFA, FRM is a senior supervisor at the Central Bank of Hungary. His main responsibility is the on- and off-site supervision of market risks in the Hungarian banking sector. He has been working here for 3 years and previously worked at the asset-liability department of a Hungarian bank.
